# HIGHLANDS INTRODUCTION

Highands is a weed farming simulator where players start from nothing and build a fully operational grow operation on chain. You plant, cultivate, harvest, and expand your farm while discovering new strains and improving production through gameplay, not speculation.

This is not a passive token experience. Instead of buying a coin and waiting, players earn the in game token $HIGH by actively managing their farm and making smart decisions. $HIGH is the backbone of the ecosystem and is used to access new items, upgrades, and expansions. Every in game spend permanently removes tokens from circulation, creating a closed loop economy that rewards long term play and real engagement.
